Give. I find donating blood reduces my stress immensely. Aside from the act of generous sacrifice, the free basic health screening is nice too. http://adamsenterprises.wordpress.com/2009/04/18/give-blood/

I just found your blog accidentally. I'll be back! I'm a rural-hippie-mom of 3 whos youngest son experienced a 40 minute seizure almost 12 months ago. He was on life support for 12 hours. Amazingly, he's recovered very well. The docs say it was a "febrile" seizure (induced by fever), but they seemed supportive of our decision to stop immunizations. Per the docs, 40% of children have seizure activity in the brain, even if they never exhibit a seizure. It's these same children most at risk for having a (typically benign) seizure induced by fever. Of course, we all know the immunizations carry a side-effect of fever, which could be just enough to cause a seizure, and let me tell you, they're not all "benign." I'm so happy our son lived and is apparently unscathed. We will not be immunizing, provided we are "allowed" that option. Do you know of any other authors similar to mendelsohn? I'm most interested in general health opinions, not just immunizations.
